Trail Surveys

We have 25 years experience in conducting extensive trail assessments (aka trail condition surveys) on existing trails. These are often helpful in helping the landowner in prioritizing their limited finances, programming their crews, and setting up future trail contracts.

The Forest Service now requires TRACS (trail assessment and condition surveys) on all their system trails.

Prior to my retirement from the Forest Service, I was the Region 3 (Arizona and New Mexico) TRACS trainer and the Prescott N.F.  INFRA (database) trails coordinator. Therefore I am familiar with how to efficiently collect trail assessment data and place it into the national trails database.
