Trail Consultation & Collaboration
We help clients through a decision making process.
We can help the client decide what kind of trail to build, where to build it, answer the question who are we building the trail for, how much will it cost, when will it be completed, what regulations must we should comply with or permits must we should apply for.
Existing trails - we can provide an assessment of the trail(s) as to the trail's functionality and long term sustainability (See Trail Surveys).
We provide project management services beyond the initial consultation level, which could include trail crew management and trail training (volunteer or hired)
With our knowledge and skills, we are available to train and educate your staff to better understand the dynamics of good trail planning, design, and management.
We are experienced with working with third party partners (nonprofits, clubs, volunteer groups, other government jurisdictions) as a way to optimize the process, either financially or by expertise.
Whether you are a private land owner, a developer needing a trail within your open space, a non-profit with land to manage, a land manager/steward of public lands (all government levels), a resort/ski area, or trust lands manager, we can help you evaluate and enhance your trail needs to the benefit of your customers:
Private landowners need trails to improve access to their property, for personal exercise, and for personal enjoyment.
Master Planned developments need trails to improveĀ their communities and individual parcels marketability and value, to provide for recreational and exercise needs of their homeowners, and to build community.
Public lands need trails for recreation, access, firebreaks, and regional linkage for their customers (i.e. the taxpayers)
